Breakfast: Tasty cheese, ham and mushroom toastie

Take a break from oatmeal and cereal with this quick and tasty toastie!




















Ingredients:
  • Some mushrooms
  • Two slices of bread
  • Two slices of good cheese (here I use a brie)
  • Slice of ham
  • Butter/margerine/or similar
  • For best results, use a "grill press"
Directions:

1. Slice mushrooms and fry gently in a little olive oil











2. Butter bread










3. Place ham, cheese and mushrooms in bread, making a sandwich










4. Heat frying (grill) pan; add a little oil (I find a spray works well)










5. Place sandwich on grill and put grill press on top












6. Check after a few minutes on cooked side; when it is golden brown, turn-over

7. When second side is done, remove from heat, place on plate and enjoy with a nice Kona coffee!!
